I believe academic knowledge should be communicated, applied and used to improve lives through intellectual rigour and practical relevance.
Teaching is central to my academic work. My aim is to help students develop strong theoretical foundations, practical problem-solving abilities and the confidence to apply computing knowledge independently.
Students are guided to examine problems critically, connect theory with practice, collaborate effectively and develop solutions that are technically sound and socially relevant.
I support students undertaking research in Knowledge Representation, Ontology Engineering, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Software Engineering and related interdisciplinary areas.
